Position Summary

Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew . Responsible for spreading and leveling of concrete, compaction by using power vibrators and hand tamping devices, smoothing process and all other operations to complete pours . Interpret basic blueprint and sketches .

Primary Responsibilities

• Must have knowledge of applicable safety rules; use basic tools and care of the tools, knowledgeable of fire protection

• Must be able to tie re-enforcement bar and wire

• Basic knowledge of material nomenclature, assist mechanics in assembly and work performance; demolition; cleaning; removing debris; housekeeping

• Building and ground maintenance; handling trash; and assisting in maintenance and construction

Qualifications

• 1-year i ndustrial construction/maintenance industry experience
