Position Overview:

The Director, Oil & Gas is responsible for driving Bray’s growth and strategic positioning across the global Oil & Gas industry. This role leads enterprise level engagement with major End Users and EPCs to expand Bray’s presence, strengthen long term relationships, and increase adoption of Bray solutions across both project and MRO opportunities. The Director works collaboratively with regional sales teams and internal stakeholders to shape and execute growth strategies, advance corporate level approvals and specifications, and support the alignment of Bray’s global capabilities with customer needs. Serving as a visible commercial leader for the Oil & Gas vertical, this role plays a key part in enhancing Bray’s competitive position and enabling sustained revenue and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and own the sales goals, growth strategies, and business objectives required to expand Bray’s presence within the global Oil & Gas industry.
  • Drive new customer acquisition by identifying, engaging, and building strategic relationships with targeted End Users and EPCs at the corporate and executive decision making levels.
  • Grow and strengthen existing Key Account relationships, ensuring continued business retention and establishing Bray as a preferred, long term strategic partner.
  • Collaborate closely with regional Bray Sales offices across the United States to communicate strategic objectives, support execution, and enable regional revenue growth.
  • Leverage Bray’s technical expertise and global infrastructure to identify opportunities, shape customer solutions, and win complex, multi region projects and programs.
  • Build strong internal cross functional partnerships, serving as a key stakeholder in initiatives that support business objectives and enhance Bray’s competitive positioning.
  • Act as a visible commercial leader, supporting global teams, influencing strategic direction, and driving sustained growth of the Oil & Gas vertical.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry with demonstrable knowledge of key customers & stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline; compensatory industry experience also accepted
  • Experience in a senior sales, key account or business management role focused on the Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience in industrial equipment, process technologies, or energy sector solutions equipment – Valve knowledge considered advantageous
  • Travel & Transportation:
    • Valid driver’s license required with reliable personal transportation.
    • Must meet Bray’s Drivers Policy requirements, including background, physical, credit check, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Field-based role with frequent travel within the territory and to Houston, Texas occasionally for training.
  • Must be comfortable working independently and managing your own travel schedule and client interactions.

  • Strategic account management: skilled in orchestrating multi‑stakeholder engagement across global accounts and translating it into regional wins.
  • Results‑driven mindset: focused on measurable growth, market share expansion, and competitive displacement.
  • Strong communication: excellent verbal & written communication skills and able to influence senior leaders internally and externally
