Overview

We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Technical Training Advisor in Houston, Texas.

This is a hybrid position, with three days remote and two days onsite each week. The Technical Training Advisor will develop, deliver, and coordinate high-quality, client-administered training solutions for AtkinsRéalis clients. This role is 100% client-facing and supports workforce capability building, knowledge transfer, and operational performance improvement. Working under the Strategy & Advisory Lead and in coordination with the AtkinsRéalis Project Manager, the role focuses on instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning delivery that enables learners to apply skills in real-world environments while championing AtkinsRéalis values.

Your role

  • Communicate training needs, schedules, and progress to the Project Manager and client.
  • Deliver technical and instructional design principles throughout training development and delivery.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and client staff to research and validate learning content.
  • Develop training from concept through vetted course content for ILT (Instructor Lead Training), VILT (Virtual Instructor-Led Training), and eLearning.
  • Create training materials using MS Office (Microsoft Word and PowerPoint), SharePoint, Articulate Storyline 360, and Camtasia.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for client staff.
  • Maintain course creation, content uploads, beta testing, and vetting.
  • Serve as principal beta tester and editor for accuracy and learner experience.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted training support resource.
  • Prepare training aids and materials.
  • Attend training and mentoring sessions with the Strategy & Advisory Lead.
  • Coordinate and report deliverables to the AtkinsRéalis Project Manager and client.

About you

  • 3-5+ years of experience in technical training facilitation.
  • Degree in Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, Management, Human Resources, Communications, Instructional Design; Experience in technical training facilitation and instructional design may substitute for formal education.
  • Highly motivated, dependable, and self-directed.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Strong aptitude for learning new skills and technologies
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Familiarity with Oracle Primavera Unifier and other Primavera suite products (preferred)

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $65k-$100k annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
