Description:

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing operations with a strong focus on achieving world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and people (SQDIPP). This role develops processes, feedback mechanisms, and cross-functional alignment to meet business needs and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct daily operations to exceed expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Allocate resources effectively and ensure optimal utilization of assets.
  • Implement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Continuously improve SQDIPP metrics and initiate corrective actions.
  • Serve as project leader and operations representative for major initiatives.
  • Stay current on best practices in production management.
  • Assist in developing and managing the manufacturing budget.
  • Communicate operational or financial risks to appropriate levels.
  • Ensure proper operational investment to support continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the maquiladora industry.
  • Experience in PCBA fabrication and electronic assembly.
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar international quality standards.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab.


Compensation

Employee Type: Salaried

Salary Minimum: $130, 000

Salary Maximum: $185, 000

Incentive: No
