How you will contribute

As a Director, Global Performance Development, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of enterprise-wide performance development programs that enable talent growth, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. You will serve as a trusted advisor to regional HR teams, business unit leaders, and cross-functional working groups to deliver a scalable and consistent approach to performance management that aligns with company values and growth ambitions.

This role reports to the Global Chief People Officer and will be instrumental in designing a performance development philosophy and framework that will be implemented across diverse markets and cultures.

What You'll Be Doing

As Director, Global Performance Development, your responsibilities will include:
  • Strategic leadership: Serve as a subject matter professional to define a world-class global performance development strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth ambitions.
  • Driving Global Enablement: Orchestrate the deployment of performance development framework(s), tools and experiences ensuring consistency across regions and business units while respecting local nuances.
  • Collaborating Across Functions: Lead regional, cross-functional teams and working groups to co-create and implement initiatives that elevate performance outcomes. Develop frameworks and playbooks that empower managers and employees to host effective performance programs and development planning across all levels and regions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with regional business leaders, HR partners, and employees across geographies to embed performance development into business strategy and culture.
  • Measuring Impact: Define and track key performance metrics to assess program effectiveness and continuously improve offerings based on business needs and feedback.
  • Change Leadership: Serve as a key change agent to champion a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and growth.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure performance programs adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements across all regions.


Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for an experienced, thoughtful leader who thrives in dynamic environments and can build scalable talent solutions in a complex global organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in multi-business unit performance development, talent management, or organizational development, preferably within a global organization or consulting firm.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional programs with broad regional scope.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of modern performance management systems, talent frameworks and leadership development methodologies.
  • Ability to synthesize insights from data, feedback, and research into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Experience working across cultures, time zones, and stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.

Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $170, 000 - $190, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
