Salary Range: $150, 000 - $225, 000

Job Description:

Work with the CPI Energy practice to help clients in the Traditional Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining and other commodity sectors solve complex problems. Lead other A& M professionals on a wide variety of complex assignments ranging from holistic cross-functional transformations, functional performance improvement, interim management and M& A assistance with a clear focus on quickly identifying high impact opportunities for EBITDA expansion, balance sheet improvements, and increasing shareholder/company value. Lead client engagements to deliver results on specialized Energy areas including: upstream, midstream, downstream, or oilfield services and equipment; oil, gas, liquefied natural gas, natural gas liquids and downstream chemicals; financial, commercial and operational performance improvement; M& A/divestiture and carve-out integration planning and execution; marketing, trading, risk, and contracting; processing terminals and pipeline systems; and cost accounting, product costing, and profitability analysis. Apply superior quantitative and analytical skills to conduct analysis, and synthesize meaningful insights from data, opinions, or facts. Develop findings, make strategic recommendations and work with clients directly to implement strategic and operational recommendations. Adapt to systems and tools, managing multiple tasks concurrently and meeting deadlines. Be involved in client and stakeholder relationship building. Domestic travel up to approx. 30% of time.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field and minimum 3 years [or bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent as stated above and 5 years] of manager level business advisory and consulting experience. Must have experience working with the following: leading and managing projects within the Traditional Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and Mining sectors; upstream, midstream, downstream, or oilfield services and equipment; commodities including oil, gas, liquefied natural gas, natural gas liquids, chemicals, and metals; financial, commercial and operational performance improvement; M& A deals and transactions; integration, synergy, divestiture and carve-out planning and execution; gathering, processing, terminals and pipeline systems; cost accounting, product costing, and profitability analysis; lease record management and division orders; systems implementation and integration; and business transformations, performance improvement and margin enhancement.
