The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Systems/Solutions Architect Engineer (Power Distribution Specialist) to join our Power Systems team. In this strategic regional role, you will serve as a trusted technical expert and thought leader, driving innovative MV/LV power distribution solutions across East Asia. Partnering closely with customers, sales teams, business leaders, and solution architects, you will influence project specifications at the early stages, develop tailored power system architectures, and support key opportunities within the Utility, Renewable Energy, Power Generation, and Transportation sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate electrical engineering professional to make a significant impact on the future of energy infrastructure and electrification.

What will you do?
Role Overview
- The role of the Power System Expert SAE is to bring innovation and thought leadership to Power System Organization for Power Distribution Application (MV/LV).
- To be a Power Distribution Expert to boost business for SE MV equipment & product, MV Transformer, LV Equipment, MV/LV Kiosk, E-house in East Asia countries.
- In close collaboration with the country business VP, sales team, zone commercial team, global & zone segment team, country offer marketing team, and zone solution architectures, and equipment factories:
- To Engage high level Technical & Architectural discussions with Customers to capture expressed and unexpressed requirements in early project stage.
- Convert customer requirements to appropriate power systems architectures to magnify Schneider Electric equipment/product strengths.
- Understand the Segment's ecosystem (Focus Segment Utility, Power Generation, Renewables, and/or Transportation).
- Be the trainer to step up Power System Team's Segment application knowledge in EA Zone for respective segments.
Expert of Power Distribution, with special focus on above said segments
- Be the expert of Power Distribution Solution knowledge of countries in East Asia zone on the focus segments.
- Understand segment's Ecosystem, Go-To-Market, Key Players, with support from segment sales.
- Good knowledge of SE MV equipment & product, MV Transformer, LV Equipment. Understand their strength and weakness vs Competitors offer, with support from Power System Offer Marketing.
- Understand Customer applications needs and their challenges, able to carry out preliminary engineering evaluation & design (e.g. Short Circuit calculation, ETAP, Single Line Diagram preliminary design) to propose the Most Suitable solution that can maximize the winning probability of SE MV/LV equipment's.
- Knowledge in power systems engineering (network simulation, protection, power electronics conversion (UPS/DC Charger), power quality, reliability) is useful.
Strong support to sales on consultant selling of key projects
- Build appropriate reference architectures, technical materials, and documentations to promote SE MV/LV solutions emphasizing differentiation and customer benefits for key accounts/opportunities.
- Knowledge of Main Competitors solution and able to build adapted battle card suitable for key account/opportunities.
- Support sales in early project stage to have high level customer meetings to discuss and influence the solution architecture with solid technical and commercial value proposition for customer's benefit.
Be the Trainer of Power System team to step up segment application knowledge
- Build segment End To End Playbook: covering segment EcoSystem, customer needs, recommended solutions & why, key value proposition, battle cards vs competitions, proposed Go To Market & why.
- Provide E2E Playbook training to Power System team to set up their knowledge and competence of respective segment.
Be the Voice of Customer and provide constructive feedback to SE Management
- Detect SE solution gaps and provide prompt feedback to Zone commercial team.
- Support zone commercial team to build constructive business case to address the offer gaps to top management.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems is advantageous).
- 10+ years of experience in electrical power system design engineering and technical studies.
- Strong expertise in Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV) equipment, transformers, and competitor offerings.
- Experience delivering or leading projects in industries such as utilities, semiconductor, renewable energy, transportation, oil & gas, and data centers is highly preferred.
- Ability to engage and influence C-level executives, technical leaders, and customers
- Strong action planning, stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Collaborative, flexible, open-minded, and comfortable working in a multi-stakeholder and cross-functional environment.
- Fluent English communication skills are essential.
