Title: Training Manager

Department: Commercial Excellence, Janssen Taiwan

POSITION SUMMARY: The Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for employees within the organization. Their main goal is to ensure that all staff members receive the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their job effectively and comply with industry regulations.

The Training Manager is responsible for:

• Developing and executing training strategies, plans, and initiatives in line with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

• Identifying training needs by conducting a thorough assessment of employee skills and knowledge gaps.

• Designing and delivering training programs, both classroom-based and online, that cover a wide range of topics such as product knowledge, compliance, technical skills, and leadership development.

• Collaborating with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and external vendors to develop high-quality training materials and resources.

• Monitoring the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, evaluations, and feedback from participants, and continuously improving the content and delivery methods.

• Managing the training budget, coordinating logistics for training events, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in training methodologies, and incorporating them into the training programs.

• Mentoring and coaching trainers and facilitators to continually improve their delivery skills.

• Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational objectives and business needs.

• Providing guidance and support to employees seeking professional development opportunities.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Education Level: University/bachelor's degree or Equivalent

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in training and development management, pharma industry is plus.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Excellent facilitation skills

• Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs.

• Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.

• Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.

• Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.

• Fantastic organizational and time management skills.

• Familiar with learning evaluation strategies, how to measure training effectiveness, and how to apply them to an education program.

• Project Management

• Written and spoken communication of the English language is required.See above
