Job Description

Permanent, a division of Hermes is hiring a Watch Commercial Executive in Taipei City, TPE. This is a full-time position.

1. Support and follow sales and ensure target achievements for Hermès Horloger
  • Prepare strategic account plan and sales plan to maximize sales growth for existing key accounts
  • Follow up products performances
  • Provides analysis and assessments per point of sales (POS) and per customers & identify growth levers
  • Set up, coordinate, maximize the promotional activities in POS
  • Prepare shop opening /refit
  • Maximize sales at all level seizing & creating opportunities


2. Build up strong relationship with clients and store staff
  • Liaison between Stores and Commercial
  • Establish a relationship of trust with Hermès local teams and stores staff
  • Be fully integrated, actively engaged and proactive with local team
  • Maximize sales during institutional Hermès local event
  • Provide product including catalogues, communication and training material for store staff
  • Support CRM data analysis and clientele development strategy


3. Animate store and implement Education & Service strategy for Hermès Horloger
  • Participate to motivate the sales team to reach their objectives
  • Share stores' and national watch' performances with watch sales team and work together on upgraded actions
  • Support with VM in coordination with VM team
  • Evaluate sales associates watches knowledge, identify needs & set up a strong training development plan to improve sales and service
  • Conduct market analysis


4. Watch Training implementation and follow up
  • Taking planning and execution aligned with watch strategy
  • Conduct LMH training for stores
  • Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective
  • Develop and implement training programs based on markets' needs


Requirements & Capabilities:
  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Business, Merchandising or other related field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years applicable business development experience in retail / fashion / watch & jewelry industry
    • Proactive to seize opportunities and bring new ideas.
      • Cool head to successfully face doubts and failures of a métier requiring strong innovative initiatives
      • Able to develop and maintain collaborative relationships and foster teamwork with multiple levels/departments/countries. Retail oriented.
      • Proactive, eager to success with a can-do attitude
      • Fluent in English and Chinese
      • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office is required, especially in Excel and Powerpoint
      • Watches sensibility is a plus - fashion sensibility required otherwise
      • Able to travel as required
