Your Job

Manage the CNC machining process and improve its performance in quality and efficiency via. engineering methodology to upgrade plant capability.

Our Team

Level of guidance:

1. Person in this position independently works with all groups and makes required decisions.

2. Provides required CNC lathe technical guidance and support to machining team and rest of RFTW.

3. Only very critical decisions and results are reviewed with supervisor.

Breadth of the Impact:

1. Develop advanced CNC lathe coding, tooling and machine parameters for manufacturing team.

2. Works with and impacts all function teams of RFTW to support business growth.

3. Establish efficiency CNC lathe work-flow and work standard to optimize shop flow.

As a senior CNC process engineer within the RFTW manufacturing team, contribute to the development of CNC lathe manufacturing technology and professional knowledge which lead to:

1. Develop efficiency manufacturing via. advanced professional knowledge.

2. Assist RFTW to develop machining capability for business growth.
3. Support plant toward operation excellence.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop CNC lathe manufacturing processes solutions including tooling, program coding and machine parameters.
• Manage and maintain manufacturing processes standards as WI, SAP routing for CNC lathe.
• Support new product development tasks as sample build, DFM and NPI.
• Conduct continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing cost, yield rate and efficiency.
• Develop advanced manufacturing CNC lathe technology for capability growth.
• Support workshop training to upgrade talent knowledge and capability.
• Develop advanced CNC lathe domain knowledge in tooling, program coding and machine parameters.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

EDUCATION:
  • REQUIRED:
  • s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
PREFERRED:
• Master 's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.

What Will Put You Ahead

WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
  • 3+ years of experience of CNC lathe tooling, program coding and machine parameters setup.
  • 3+ Years experience of process engineer.
  • Capable of operating Cincom brand CNC lathe machine
  • Capable of CNC machine change-over independently.


PREFERRED:

  • Capable of 3D modeling software as NX.
  • Capable of CAM software


SKILLS & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED:

  • Professional knowledge of CNC lathe tooling selection and management.
  • Professional knowledge of CNC lathe coding.
  • English written and verbal skills


PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge & experience in DOE, FMEA, SPC, 8D and DFM.
  • Six Sigma green belt Certification
  • Familiar with Microsoft 365 software
