Job Description:
- Leads & delivers P& L accountabilities across Taiwan markets: comprising ~150 people and $142+ MM in revenue from the business unit of Surgery, Orthopaedics, Electrophysiology, Neurovascular, and Aesthetics & Reconstruction.
- Develops and executes strategic plans for short‐, medium‐, and long‐term sustainable, TW market profitable growth.
- Ensures effective implementation and execution of strategies and plans to direct growth of the company and to achieve both long-term and short-range objectives
- Implements global business unit strategies, ensures successful launches and appropriate resource allocation, and delivers against BP targets to optimize growth
- Shapes the external environment by developing deep customer and competitor insights and relationships with key stakeholders (customers, health systems, governmental agencies, industry bodies)
- Leads and inspires a high‐performance team and builds a strong pipeline of talent both for commercial and for enable functions
- Demonstrates a strong Enterprise Mindset with the ability to influence and collaborates in a global, matrixed, shared‐service environment to achieve business objectives
- Drives a strong culture of Ethics and Compliance aligned to our Johnson & Johnson Credo
- Develops and implements the strategic plan for MedTech Taiwan based on the global and regional strategy for Johnson & Johnson MedTech. He/she is also responsible for delivering the business plan targets and the overall business objectives outlined in J& J MedTech vision and strategies.
- Plans, develops, and directs all aspects of the Business Units based on sales/profitability and other goals and objectives established in conjunction with the next level and regional level of management.
- Formulates and communicates overall business objectives, policies, and strategic plans for Business Units in Taiwan
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business
- Develops and implements the business plans for Taiwan to deliver sales, market share and profit targets defined by the annual business plan.
- Directs development and preparation of short-term and long-range sales/profitability and other goals plans and budgets based upon the broad company goals and growth objectives.
- Identifies future growth opportunities, builds organizational capability and allocates appropriate resources to achieve growth targets.
- Continuously monitors company performance against plan and takes corrective actions where necessary.
- Makes timely decisions and balances short-term needs with longer-term strategic impact.
- Develops and approves refinements to the plan in response to changing business and competitive conditions/needs.
- Evaluates and derives high level marketing and sales tactics and insights from complex market access research.
- Works collaboratively across the organization to cull marketing research information, and to strengthen marketing research benchmark data.
- Develops and implements a local customer engagement strategy by working with various cross-functional leaders at various levels of the organization to identify our organization’s needs.
- Maximizes company performance and productivity from insight generation to strategy development.
- Leads change management initiatives to strengthen the customer interface activities including sales training/ excellence and incentive schemes.
- Oversees the integration of new customer engagement approaches and develops digital capabilities within team.
- Creates structures and processes necessary to manage the Company's current activities and its projected growth.
- Ensures sound services and working relationships with key employees of important customers and vendors, with outside services such as consultants, legal counsel, advertising agencies, and regulatory agencies, and with outside public and governmental bodies.
- Plays a key role in shaping the external environment.
- Conducts business activities in compliance with ethics and legal requirements.

Requirements
- Proven ability to manage complexity and thriving in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances through strong leadership, effective communications and influencing skills.
- Strong passion and track record for innovation and open mind for new approaches & will to make things happen & deliver
- Ability to build trustful relationships and strong effective collaboration with a diverse group of external and internal stakeholders and employees in a highly matrixed environment to deliver results.
- P& L management experiences, developing sound organization culture of inclusiveness, maintaining balance between talent and business
- Shape external environment with effective influencing to stakeholders
- Leadership experience for at least + 30 people
- A minimum of 7+ years leadership experience and being able to develop and lead a team. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage in complex situations
- 10+ years work experience in marketing/sales, within Healthcare is preferred
- Strong analytics, business and financial acumen and strategic mindset even in complex environment while managing operational requirements
- Market builder and creator focusing to customers and market with an understanding of MedTech industry
- Track record of driving necessary strategic change to meet changing business needs, inclusive of mobilizing teams and driving high performance culture
- People Leadership with a proven track record of talent development
- Collaboration – Builds Strong Networks and takes actions as an Enterprise Leader
- Proven track record of communication skills to multiple stakeholders that establish a culture of transparency and fairness and trust
- Leadership experiences in a matrix Commercial Environment
