Tennessee Voices For Children, Inc. is hiring a Program Supervisor - Healthy Families Tennessee in Goodlettsville, TN. This is a full-time position.

This position provides support for Macon, Smith, Clay, and Jackson Counties. Tennessee Voices Inc. is Tennessee's collaborative leader in mental health and family well-being. Each year, we serve thousands of children, parents, and adults across all 95 counties with services that prevent crisis, heal trauma, and build long-term stability. By healing parents alongside their children, providing critical resources like housing and mental health support, and advocating for systemic change, TN Voices helps families thrive and communities grow stronger. Summary: The Program Supervisor (PS) is responsible for supervising and providing on-going support, guidance, and reflective supervision to a team of 4-6 Family Support Specialists (FSSs). The PS also advocates for TN Voices' (TNV) programs by building and maintaining strong relationships within the communities assigned and serves as an ambassador of TNV through speaking engagements, trainings, and awareness campaigns. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Supervises and evaluates direct reports utilizing reflective supervision guidelines Supports direct reports by accompanying them and observing them during the course of their work Maintains supervisory logs and required data for documentation of weekly supervision meetings Ability to apply for and maintain an active Infant Mental Health Endorsement Status Reviews data system (ex. Apricot) for all required documentation Acquires a deep understanding of FSS performance to ensure compliance with all contract requirements Participates in program meetings and provides training when necessary Maintains regular and reliable attendance while accurately recording and managing time keeping records to ensure seamless operations and contributions to team productivity Upholds and promotes the organization's values, mission and ethical standards in all interactions and decision-making processes to foster a positive and principled workplace culture Collaborates with other agencies, provides outreach, and advocates for TNV's programs Assures the components and standards of the Healthy Families Tennessee program is met and maintained, and actively participates in all program accreditation processes Respects and maintains confidential information in all situations Hires, onboards, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff in the Healthy Families program Facilitates trainings as needed Participates in agency leadership by helping inform strategic planning process, quarterly site visits, staff meetings, and retreats Follows organizational policies, makes recommendations for change, and leads implementation of changes Attends quarterly site visits in appropriate region Mentors and coaches others within the organization Participates in major fundraising events benefitting TNV community awareness events that promote the agency and its programs, and program activities of the organization no matter the individual role Fulfills the role of other leaders and managers in the organization when the position is vacant or employee is on leave Assists with child abuse prevention month activities Participates in and leads ad-hoc committees when appropriate and needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a related field and 3 years of relevant experience working with children and families. Less than a bachelor's degree will be considered when combined with HFA experience. Solid understanding and experience in managing/motivating staff as well as providing support in stressful working environments Knowledge/experience with trauma informed care Experience in home visiting with a background in early childhood prevention services Experience providing strengths-based and family-centered support to young children and families Experience in working with culturally diverse communities/families Knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment principles Ability to self-direct daily work tasks and practice effective time management Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate as part of a team Microsoft Office, email, internet; Must be able to meet documentation requirements Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Infant mental health endorsement preferred Core Competencies: Oversight and coordination of all program activities, planning, support, and implementation Complete quality program reports as scheduled/assigned by supervisor and state. Provide FSS training statewide and serve as statewide support for FSS. Serve on local & statewide committees, meetings & task forces representing training programs Maintain documentation and databases regarding training, participants and reporting. Monitor and manage assigned program budgets with input from CFO and Finance Dept. Assure scopes of services are fully met for assigned program contracts Ensure development of family leaders and family support groups across the state, including active recruitment and training of facilitators and on-going consultation and technical assistance Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Performance Reviews are completed electronically by the employee's direct supervisor then reviewed and approved by regional or program leadership.
