Position Summary
The Warehouse Lead is a hands-on supervisor responsible for directing daily activities of warehouse staff and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the work process. This role involves loading/unloading tires, managing inventory, and training entry-level associates. The Lead operates under minimal supervision and uses forklifts to move and store tires as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
WORK EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years experience in a warehouse environment, with Inventory Control experience.
ACADEMIC/TRAINING: A High School diploma or equivalent.
SKILLS: Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Must be forklift certified and able to operate material handling equipment, i.e., forklift, sit down and stand up. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Be able to read, write and speak English, with basic mathematical skills. Must be bi-lingual, English/Spanish. Must have the ability to reason logically, use common sense, and resolve issues independently.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of this position require waling, standing, sitting, hearing, seeing, moving, driving, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is typical of a warehouse, with forklifts moving, truck being loaded and unloaded, using propane and electricity, with a strong smell of tires. The environment has uncontrolled air.
