Website: https: //www.collectivusholdings.com Locations: Nashville - Plano - Aarhus - Lisbon - Worldwide Job Title: Head of Enterprise Platforms & Applications Reporting Line: Head of Technology Collectivus is creating a new Head of Enterprise Platforms & Applications role to lead the strategy, architecture, modernization and operational effectiveness of the company's core enterprise platforms -- the systems supporting distribution, supply chain, warehousing, finance, and other critical business operations. The Head of Enterprise Platforms & Applications ensures that mission-critical systems are designed correctly from the outset, implemented once rather than repeatedly rebuilt, and scaled efficiently as the organization grows. This role enables execution of Collectivus' operational strategy by reducing platform fragmentation, driving disciplined modernization, and building enterprise systems that support multiple business units and geographies without adding unnecessary complexity. Accountable for how enterprise technology is engineered across Collectivus, ensuring platforms are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to long-term business outcomes. This is a hands-on strategic leadership role focused on building enterprise technology the right way, establishing architectural discipline, platform governance, and delivery quality across ERP, WMS, and every system the business depends on to operate. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Platform Strategy & Architecture Own engineering architecture and delivery quality across enterprise platforms, including: ERP -- Infor SX.e / Infor CloudSuite Distribution / Microsoft Business Central WMS and warehouse technology Finance and back-office applications Supply chain / fulfillment technology Enterprise integrations and middleware Enterprise application architecture System integrators and strategic technology vendors Enterprise platform modernization Own the long-term enterprise application and platform roadmap. Establish enterprise architecture and integration standards across business units. Reduce unnecessary platform fragmentation and technical debt. Lead build-vs.-buy and platform-selection decisions. Lead architectural decision-making for major ERP, WMS, and enterprise transformation initiatives. Establish reusable frameworks and shared services to avoid duplicated development and fragmented point solutions across business units. Engineering Organization Leadership Lead and develop the Enterprise Platforms organization, including managers and associated enterprise application resources. People leadership & team development. Define role structure, capability models, and growth paths for enterprise applications talent. Hire, mentor, and elevate senior enterprise architects, ERP/WMS specialists, and integration engineers. Conduct performance management, talent planning, and succession development for the enterprise platforms team. ERP, WMS & Transformation Program Leadership Provide leadership for major ERP, WMS and enterprise transformation programs. Ensure platforms are scalable, stable, integrated and aligned with business processes. Standardize implementation methodology, testing, and cutover practices across transformation programs. Balance modernization roadmaps with the operational stability of mission-critical systems. Vendor & Implementation Oversight Manage strategic relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and systems integrators. Provide technical leadership and oversight for system integrators and implementation partners. Ensure implementation partners follow architectural standards and avoid unnecessary customization. Evaluate build vs. buy decisions with long-term total-cost-of-ownership awareness. Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and business leadership. Establish KPIs around system reliability, implementation performance, business adoption, support effectiveness, and platform value. Act as a senior technical advisor to executive leadership on enterprise platform investments and modernization strategy. Support scalability of enterprise systems across multiple business units and international markets. Qualifications Significant ERP/enterprise applications leadership experience. Strong WMS, distribution, supply-chain or fulfillment technology experience highly desirable. Experience leading complex ERP/WMS implementations and transformations. Strong enterprise architecture and systems-integration experience. Demonstrated experience managing technology vendors and systems integration partners. Ability to translate between business processes and technology architecture. Experience operating across multiple business units and enterprise platforms. 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications, ERP/WMS, or enterprise technology leadership roles. Experience leading engineering/applications teams directly (not just influencing), including manager-level reports. Strong vendor management and technical oversight experience. Preferred Experience Experience in multi-brand, multi-entity, or global operating environments. Background supporting distribution, warehousing, supply chain, or technology-enabled operations businesses. Experience modernizing legacy ERP/WMS systems or leading large-scale platform implementations. Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern enterprise integration frameworks. Success in This Role Looks Like Enterprise platforms are implemented once and scale across the organization. ERP, WMS, and transformation programs are delivered predictably and adopted well by the business. Technical debt and unnecessary customization decrease over time. Systems integrate cleanly across business units and regions. Vendors and system integrators follow enterprise standards. Enterprise platforms talent grows and retention improves.
