Sr. Technical Development Engineer - Digital Power Franklin, TNThe Sr. Technical Development Engineer - Digital Power will be responsible delivering training to new and, potentially, existing members of the Digital Power Operations team. The role includes creating, managing, and deploying the technical training for EPMS (Energy & Power metering system) solutions.
You will be responsible for the topics below: - Deploying the EPMS training to Application Engineers), System Commissioning Specialists and University Recruits that includes the following:
- PME software
- EPO software
- Basic & advanced Power Meters
- Branch and multi circuit meters
- Energy Hub
- Collaborate with PMU & Line of business to update training content with latest products
- Identify training needs and develop missing content/training
- Maintain the competency dashboard of Digital Power Operations application engineers
- Finalize and maintain the training calendar
- Manage the certification level of the training participants
Qualifications & Experience, Essential- Bachelor's/associate degree in electrical engineering/control systems/Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience for configuration and programming EPO, PME, & Power Meters etc.
- Experience with development & deployment of Schneider Electric proprietary software such as Power Metering Expert (PME) or EcoStruxure Power Operations (EPO) (formerly Power SCADA Operations)
- Good understanding of industry standard communication protocols
Qualifications, Desirable: - Field experience with configuration of Power meters and understanding of control & Power wiring of metering devices.
- Experience delivering & creating training
- Knowledgeable in networking architectures, topologies, and hardware
Additional Skills: - Good communication skills in English (oral & written)
- Be open minded and creative
- Self-driven and ability to take decisions
- Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
