At Schneider Electric, our Service Representatives play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Field Service Representative, you will collaborate with customers, sales teams, and partners to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment in dynamic environments.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Field Service Representative to join our Chennai Secure Power 3 Phase team. As a Field Service Representative, your typical day will include:
• Servicing, installing, and repairing customer equipment.
• Performing warranty work and start-up services
• Conducting startup/commissioning on Schneider Electric equipment
• Providing testing, calibration, and repair services
• Offering technical support and training to customers
• Documenting technical reports for each site
Additional Responsibilities:
• Analysing complex equipment problems and implementing solutions
• Developing and implementing design modifications
• Creating training courseware and providing training to customers and colleagues
• Traveling for training and job site support

Qualifications
Qualifications - External Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
4+ years of experience in a field service role, preferably in the electrical industry, Strong technical knowledge of UPS System, Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Handling a Major Project, Effective communication and customer service skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Willingness to travel for training and job site support
