The
Product Application Expert - EDN will serve as a key technical ambassador for Schneider Electric's Electrical Distribution (ED) portfolio. This role is responsible for driving the adoption of digital technologies, supporting sales teams with technical expertise, and enabling customer success through deep application knowledge. The individual will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to position SE's offers effectively and drive profitable growth in the region.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Sales Enablement- Act as a Technology Ambassador for Schneider Electric's Electrical Distribution offers.
- Ensure successful adoption and deployment of digital technologies, digital offers, tools, and platforms.
- Support the sales team in customer conversion, providing technical insights and solution differentiation.
- Understand customer specifications, application needs, and propose optimized technical solutions.
- Provide presales and application support for products and solutions across the EDN portfolio.
Market & Stakeholder Engagement- Drive and position technological evolution with internal teams, customers, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Conceive, plan, and execute promotional activities, technical events, and customer engagements.
- Prescribe and influence decision-making to enable profitable growth for the assigned offer portfolio.
Experience & Competencies RequiredMarket Knowledge- Strong understanding of customer segments such as Panel Builders, OEMs, Contractors, and their business needs.
- Knowledge of market trends in Electrical Power Distribution and related technologies.
Technical Competencies- In-depth knowledge of MV & LV Power Distribution systems, design philosophy, and applications.
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with Connected Products and Energy Management Software.
- Expertise in:
- Power Distribution Offers: VCB, ACB, MCCBs, switching & controlling devices, transfer switches, fuse devices, and related digital applications.
- Power Management Offers: Energy meters, PFC components, Active Harmonic Filters (AHFs).
- LV Panels and their applications.
- Discrete and Process Automation offers.
Functional Competencies- Strong passion for Digital Technologies and innovation.
- Excellent influencing, convincing, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication abilities with a focus on relationship-building and collaboration.

- High adaptability and openness to change.
