We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Lean Business Transformation Team in
Nashville, TN. The intern will support lean education initiatives, assist in the development of continuous improvement training, and work on simplifying our centralized PMO assets. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in project management, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and delivery of lean education programs.
- Support the creation and enhancement of continuous improvement training materials.
- Collaborate with the PMO team to streamline and simplify centralized PMO assets.
- Conduct research and analysis to support lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
- Assist with documentation and reporting related to lean and continuous improvement projects.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in lean methodologies, continuous improvement, and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for the duration of the summer.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with agility, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
