For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $110, 000 - $160, 000 per year, which includes base pay, plus uncapped commission. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What do you get to do in this position?

Serve as the Commercial Leader for RECA's (Renewable Electricity Carbon Advisory) Supply Chain Renewables Initiatives Program ("SCRI"s). The Supply Chain Renewable Initiative allows for Schneider Clients (i.e. Walmart, Energize, PepsiCo., among others) to partner with Schneider to educate and engage their Suppliers on supply chain decarbonization, with an emphasis on scope 2 emissions reductions via the acceleration of renewable energy adoption through power purchase agreements, environmental commodities, etc., and an expansion into scope 1 emissions reduction strategies in the future.

Oversee and facilitate the Supply Chain Renewables Programs and facilitating the sales of new programs, re-signing of existing contracts, and oversight on expansion of sales to incorporate overall sustainability solutions to suppliers. This includes following phases, during which the Commercial Lead is expected to participate to varying degrees:

I. Leading Initial Sales, including sales enablement content, scope of work development and commercial pricing structure

II. Understand Client goals and expectations and help scale impact for their value chain members

III. Provide expertise and guidance during Educational Journey with Suppliers of Client

Project Engagement
  • Work with Program Leadership on new program expansion driving consistent scalable approach to the market
  • Collaborate in the transformation and ongoing standardization of materials enabling consistent cross/upsells
  • Documentation and execution of a governance structure to consistently offramp Suppliers to take action on Scope 1 and Scope 2 opportunities


Cross-Sustainability Business Coordination
  • Drive the development of new program structure and cadence of cross/up sells interested to sponsor/client
  • Liaise with other ESS resources for upsell/cross-sell opportunities and support on SCD
  • Liaise with SE technology and marketing teams to capture requirements, and prioritize supply chain technology enhancements and marketing rollouts across the business


Program Enhancement
  • Work with and on behalf of Cleantech team and broader Schneider ESS to further improve and enhance customer satisfaction re: the delivery of SCRI Suppliers to consistent approaches to take action
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development team to optimize service offer, marketing collateral, sales team awareness levels and abilities to acquire new clients and expand service revenue.
  • Other Duties as may be assigned
  • May include multi-region deliveries for Supply Chain Renewables programs in EMEA and elsewhere
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Business, Finance, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical field with 10+ years of related professional experience
  • Extensive Project Management experience working with complex projects, ideally those involving delivery through digital platforms or technologies
  • A strong interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and emerging energy services with a strong visionary focus on supply chain sustainability offer development
  • Strong aptitude for learning and teaching new and different topics, particularly regarding supply chain decarbonization, marketing communications, renewable energy development, and digitization
  • Ability to successfully manage a diverse team, both direct reports and other key resources within the business unit and otherwise
  • Versatility and the ability to work across multiple disciplines
  • Creativity and ability to formulate and implement service and deliverable enhancements
  • Ability to work well with a large network of internal colleagues, including a proven track record managing cross-disciplinary projects and delivering milestones on-time
  • Proven ability to successfully manage customer interactions, including calendar management, setting and leading agendas, leading clients through meetings, summarizing key takeaways & action items, etc.
  • High commitment to company vision, values and excellent customer service with high quality work product
  • Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, analyses and ideas in a concise, effective manner
  • Well organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage internal communications and escalations of issues
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in diverse areas
  • Proficient computer experience in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and other technology systems as needed
  • Experience in electric power management, procurement, sustainability or renewable energy preferred
  • Consulting or advisory experience in the sustainability field
  • Energy procurement and/or renewable energy procurement experience
  • Qlik programming capability
  • Knowledge or expertise with Schneider Electric's Supply Chain Renewables Initiative or similar programs
