For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $114, 400 - $171, 600 per year, which

includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United
States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within
the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, jobrelated skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a

General Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP LE/EWM Functional Lead to drive end ‑ to ‑ end logistics and warehouse transformation across our S/4HANA landscape. This role provides deep expertise in Logistics Execution, Warehouse Management, and integrated manufacturing/warehouse operations. You will serve as the SAP expert for designing, implementing, and optimizing logistics processes for manufacturing plants, warehouses, and distribution centers.

As the Functional Lead, you will collaborate with cross ‑ functional stakeholders-including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT Architecture, and Product Management-to define the logistics roadmap, deliver scalable solutions, and ensure successful deployment across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Functional Leadership
  • Serve as the primary functional expert for SAP LE and EWM in an S/4HANA environment.
  • Lead the design and optimization of core logistics processes:
    • inbound receiving
    • putaway & storage control
    • outbound picking & packing
    • shipping & transportation execution
    • HU management
    • production supply & staging
    • replenishment
    • quality inspection
  • Evaluate business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and align solutions with enterprise standards.

Project Delivery & Implementation
  • Lead the functional workstream for LE/EWM across large S/4HANA programs.
  • Oversee and perform configuration, functional documentation, integration mapping, and end‑to‑end testing.
  • Ensure designs support discrete manufacturing environments (MTS / MTO / CTO / ETO).
  • Drive cross‑functional workshops to validate business needs and confirm solution alignment.

Integration Management
  • Ensure seamless integration between EWM/LE and:
    • SAP SD, MM, PP, QM, and Finance
    • external WMS/TMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, carrier systems)
    • manufacturing execution systems (MES/LDS/AVEVA)
  • Collaborate with middleware teams to support integration via SAP CPI, PI/PO, MuleSoft, or equivalent platforms.

Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Promote standardization of logistics processes across plants and DCs.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce customizations and adopt SAP best practices.
  • Provide guidance on S/4HANA innovations related to logistics and warehousing.
  • Maintain solution integrity through governance, change control, and design reviews.

Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and functional delivery in Agile/SAFe environments.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to define scope, prioritize requirements, and manage roadmap dependencies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to support training, change management, and cutover planning.


Experience
  • 8+ years of hands‑on functional experience with SAP LE, WM, or EWM.
  • 3+ years working specifically with SAP S/4HANA logistics and warehouse capabilities.
  • End‑to‑end involvement in at least one full S/4HANA implementation, including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Strong experience supporting logistics for manufacturing environments, ideally discrete manufacturing (MTS/MTO/CTO/ETO).

Technical Skills
  • Deep functional knowledge of:
    • SAP EWM (warehouse structure, WOCR, storage controls, waves, queues, RF, HU management)
    • SAP LE (shipping, transportation, packing, route determination)
    • Inventory Management (IM), batch/serial management, and physical inventory
  • Strong understanding of integration points with SD, MM, PP, QM, and Finance.
  • Experience with logistics interfaces, EDI, carrier integration, and ASN processes.
  • Ability to write FSDs, test scripts, and functional designs for WRICEF objects.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate, Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe delivery frameworks.
