Perma-Pipe in Lebanon, Tennessee (USA) is hiring a Maintenance Technician!

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lebanon, Tennessee. The Maintenance Technician is an entry-level role responsible for performing basic preventive maintenance, assisting with repairs, and supporting higher-level technicians. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their career in industrial maintenance and seeking to develop multi-craft skills.

Schedule: 6: 00 a.m. - 2: 30 p.m., with potential daily overtime until 4: 40 p.m., plus occasional Saturday shifts as needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks (lubrication, filter changes, basic inspections)
• Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS
• Follow all company safety standards and report hazards immediately

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of maintenance or mechanical experience (industrial or vocational training preferred)
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Physical Demands

• Lift/carry: sedentary up to 10 lbs; light up to 20 lbs; medium up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Raise/lower or move objects horizontally.
• Frequent wrist/hand motions.
• Ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• Must move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• Visual acuity required for accuracy and thoroughness of work.
• Standing/walking for more than 90% of shift, including long distances.
• Ability to work in extreme weather.

Work Environment

• Active industrial shop with exposure to dust, noise, varying temperatures, and heavy machinery.
• Frequent use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and dust masks as required.
