Position: Supply Chain Director

Pay: Salary based on experience

Are you a seasoned professional in Healthcare Supply Chain Management looking for a new opportunity? NHC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This position will be based out of Murfreesboro, TN or Knoxville, TN . In this role, you will oversee and manage our corporate supply chain operations, develop and maintain our contractual relationships with key corporate suppliers, service providers and group purchasing organization partners in multiple categories and administer our company's purchasing portal for selected high-volume vendors. You will be the lead in conducting contract reviews and negotiations, and will coordinate vendor fairs at NHC annual conferences. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Operations and mentor and support your team of two NHC partners: our Strategic Sourcing Coordinator and Procurement Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and/or maintain relationships on behalf of the company with key corporate suppliers, service providers and group purchasing organizations in multiple categories.
  • Design and implement contract negotiation strategies and perform financial impact analyses as appropriate.
  • Supervise and mentor two direct reports: Strategic Sourcing Coordinator and Procurement Analyst.
  • Oversee administration of company's primary purchasing portal and related activities.
  • Work with internal stakeholders on various projects to ensure supplier alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide reporting to senior management and other departments related to savings and supplier compliance.
  • Organize and manage vendor fairs at NHC conferences annually.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Healthcare Supply Chain Management with track record of increased responsibilities, including supervision of a team.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
  • Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Develop systems to manage daily operations.
  • Display proficiency in using various software and tools, including Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).
