We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Billing Specialist for our Skilled Nursing facilities. As a vital member of our healthcare administrative staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our skilled nursing facilities.

Responsibilities:

Billing and Invoicing: Generate and prepare financial responsibility notifications for skilled nursing services provided to residents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Insurance Claims: Prepare and submit insurance claims for reimbursement, adhering to insurance guidelines and regulations.

Documentation: Review admission documentation to ensure that all services are properly recorded for billing purposes.

Follow-up: Track and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable, addressing any billing discrepancies or issues.

Communication: Collaborate with healthcare facilities, insurance companies, and internal teams to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.

Qualifications:

Experience: Experience not required. Attitude is everything.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
