Production Planner

General Description: The Supply Planner assists the Site Leader in the effective operation of the Material Requirements Planning System (MRP) by interfacing with Sales, performing Production Planning functions, tracking effective use of MRP, monitoring MRP data for improvement opportunities, and coordinating Continuous Improvement activities based on MRP Information feedback. Duties and Responsibilities: Uses MRP to plan and release shop orders to production during the day, unpacking batches as needed Coordinates with Sales/Customer Service Team to confirm dates for shop order fulfillment Monitors teams for MRP compliance and reports to Site Leader on any MRP Issues Assists Site Leader in using and improving performance to MRP scheduling Uses MRP to record specific reasons for production Misses Coordinates meetings and analyzes MRP data as required Monitors Plant Capacity needs, using MRP and advises Sales and Production Leadership of analysis Leads Continuous Improvement Analysis by using MRP Data and suggesting projects and other improvements Job Type: Full-time
