Inventory Control Manager

National Guard Products (NGP) is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to lead inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and replenishment processes. This role is responsible for cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory transactions, and improvements that help keep materials available and records reliable. The right candidate enjoys investigating discrepancies, working across departments, and building practical processes that prevent the same issues from happening again. What Youll Do Lead the cycle count program and coordinate periodic and annual physical inventories.Investigate inventory variances, transaction errors, and process gaps; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Maintain accurate inventory records, warehouse locations, and master data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.Monitor inventory transfers, adjustments, and replenishment activity.Manage Kanban replenishment levels to support material availability while limiting excess inventory.Improve warehouse layouts, labeling, storage practices, and location accuracy.Partner with Purchasing, Planning, Operations, Production, Customer Service, Finance, and IT to resolve issues and improve workflows.Develop reports and track measures such as inventory accuracy, cycle count results, inventory turns, adjustments, and excess or obsolete inventory.Lead, coach, and set clear expectations for inventory control personnel.Present inventory findings and improvement recommendations to leadership. What Were Looking For At least 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.Experience managing cycle counts and physical inventories.Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory controls, and replenishment processes.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system.Advanced Excel and reporting skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize daily needs and longer-term improvements. A bachelors degree in supply chain, operations management, business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
