Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Plant Superintendent for our Air Separation facilities at our Memphis-Riverport location. This position will report to the Facilities Manager. The Plant Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring production requirements are met, and the facilities are operated in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. The role manages a team of plant technicians at the facility. This is a front-line operations role that will respond to unplanned events, work independently, and make technical decisions and recommendations to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the facility. This position requires a combination of office and field work. Accessibility during off-hours (laptop and cell phone) is required. Primary Responsibilities: - Manage plant technicians including site instrument technician - Compliance with all applicable regulatory, policy, and internal engineering standards - Maximize efficiency and operating capacity of the plant - Troubleshoot plant process & equipment problems and implement solutions - Special projects lead - If needed, assist at other locations in TN - Maintain QA program, facilitate customer and corporate audits - Assist with coordination of maintenance and project work with reliability centers and capital project teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution - Maintain documentation of equipment and process - Responsible for process safety information related to plant activities (MOC, HWP) - Interfaces and communicates directly with pipeline customers Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree recommended (not required) - Required minimum 3-10 years of experience in operations - Working knowledge of industrial gas plant processes - Experience with installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment - Working knowledge of Hazardous work permits and Management of Change - Excellent communication, team interaction and presentation skills - Self-starter who is comfortable working independently, effectively manages multiple tasks and achieves results with minimal supervision - Must have a positive attitude, be willing to quickly adapt to changing situations, have strong communications skills, and a strong will to build and maintain productive relationships across departmental lines - Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint About Linde: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
