In this role you will be accountable for the day-to-day activities in a Customer Service Administrator role to achieve the mill objectives. You will work directly with the Manufacturing teams, Staff Distribution/Deployment, Staff Customer Service, Corporate Transportation, Staff Planning, Sales, and Distributor Customers both internal and external. This position reports to the Logistics Leader.

Principal Accountabilities:

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate safety as a value by performing all responsibilities in a safe manner. Contribute to the safety and well-being of all personnel by actively supporting and participating in mill safety initiatives

  • Manage on-site and off-site raw materials, finishing supplies, and/or finished goods including tracking, reconciling, and reporting

  • Generate daily flow plan of finished goods using SAP

  • Review and manage trailer pool to target daily, both at the mill and the outside warehouses

  • Use Trailer Management to coordinate RF/RM/Broke/ and Virgin transportation activities

  • Use PIMS to monitor assets production rates to adjust orders as needed

  • Use SAP Outbound Shipping Monitor to schedule the loading of customer orders and stock transfers

  • Coach 3rd party contractors in their day-to-day work, addressing safety issues that arise

  • Understand all material flow work and can coach 3rd party contractors in internal control procedures, loading requirements, and how to use dock locks etc.

  • Manage the driver window

  • Ensure all incoming vitals are received in SAP in a timely manner

  • Prioritize the unloading of vitals to limit trailer detention

  • Ensure the stores after hours receiving process is followed

  • Support the mill in off shifts to get vitals or parts into the mill (for example, opens an outside warehouse)

  • Use PIMS to monitor assets production; Adjust pick up time with carriers as needed

  • Run load ahead report to ensure there are loads available for loading

  • Coordinate the loading of TM3 and TM4 parent rolls to match paper machine schedule (for example, exports and Convermat)

  • Communicate any shipping issues with Central Transportation

  • Work with Staff Customer Service to ensure all orders are completed in a timely manner and correctly

  • As needed, the incumbent may be asked to contribute in other Material Flow functions

Shift/ Schedule: 12-hour Rotating Shift (6: 00 am – 6: 00 pm or 6: 00 pm – 6: 00 am). Schedule rotation follows Operations rotating shift pattern

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States,

  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.

  • Have 1+ years of continuous work experience.

  • Have prior experience in a similar role with the ability to balance multiple, shifting priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills.

  • Are a self-motivated, self-directed individual with exceptional organizational skills.

  • Are Continuous Improvement focused with ability to originate action to improve existing conditions and processes.

  • Can maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime with periodic flexing of schedule to meet business needs, including but may not be limited to the need to cover a counterpart’s day or rotating shift.

  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening

  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT)

  • Ability to interface with other Admin, Technicians and Day Resources

  • Ability to participate as part of the Loudon Mill High Performance Work System

  • Ability to lead task teams and interface with all areas of the mill

​Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a similar role with the ability to balance multiple, shifting priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Relevant advance educational degree

  • Prior working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, SAP, Trailer Management and Plant Apps

Starting Hourly Wage: $22.00 USD
