Position Overview
The Nursing Executive Advisor, Workforce Development Solutions (WDS), will be responsible for supporting sales of HealthStream's WDS solutions as the technical expert and thought leader in both professional and higher education markets. In this role, the Nursing Executive Advisor will work side by side with product leadership and WFD sales teams to provide executive level customer facing presentations and demonstrations. As the go to person for the WFD sales teams for executive level presentations, this person will join customer meetings and professional events bringing thought leadership and additional subject matter expertise to help advance sales of the solutions. This individual will have responsibility for helping to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
- Participate regularly on strategic sales calls or in-person meetings to express the value of the entire clinical portfolio, through our Acute, Non-Acute, and Higher Ed sales channels.
- Champion the product portfolio's outcomes sourced through customer interviews, data analyses, and engagement of the multi-disciplinary team
- Directly influence sales of larger suites or multiple products from the clinical portfolio by engaging higher level health system leaders and industry thought leaders
- Collaborate with product management to understand vision, product roadmaps, and provide feedback from the field to define future evolution of our solutions
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management to represent HealthStream and its Workforce Development Solutions product portfolio as a speaker at various live or online events or author of various white papers, articles, or blogs
- Conduct research to fully understand the competitive environment, market share and financial performance of the product portfolio
- Provide leadership for HealthStream Innovation Councils and customer pilots, including direction on how to best operationalize the clinical portfolio
- Drive greater ecosystem value by promoting the platform and offerings that are integrated across HealthStream product lines
- Influence consortiums to help capture new marketshare with our myClinicalExchange solution in addition to gaining buyin for HealthStream's new Higher Ed product bundle.
QualificationsRequirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Masters preferred
- 10 or more years in nursing education and/or in a leadership role
Qualifications
- Ownership mentality, willing to lead through ambiguity and own performance.
- Curiosity, a desire to hear opinions and ideas that challenge your own.
- Plans and executes own activities with generally-defined goals and minimal supervision
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly develop relationships, both internally and externally
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as SalesForce
- Must be able to create and report on data analytics using Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient use of MS Teams/WebEx
- Team player, with customer service orientation and positive attitude
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Develop deep understanding of solutions, including target audience, value proposition, ROI as well as all technical aspects and the why behind them
- Manages activities for multiple concurrent and complex projects with the appropriate prioritization and focus
- Works within a multi-disciplinary and cross-functional team with respect towards others and focused on successfully meeting team goals
- Appropriately influences cross-functional team members without formal authority or management control
- Establishes high level of trust and credibility internally and with customers
- Ability to present and demonstrate complex solutions in a way that is compelling & easy to understand
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel.
