As the Global Portfolio Manager, you will lead enterprise-scale, multi-year technology and operating model transformations across GXO's global logistics network. You will own portfolio governance, prioritization, and investment performance, ensuring strategic initiatives deliver measurable value in service, cost, productivity, and growth while enabling clear executive decision-making and predictable delivery outcomes.

What you'll do on a typical day: - Own end-to-end portfolio management for global transformation initiatives, from intake and prioritization through delivery and benefits realization
- Establish and lead portfolio governance structures, including executive steering committees, stage gates, and decision-making frameworks
- Develop and manage multi-year roadmaps, sequencing initiatives and managing interdependencies across regions and functions
- Maintain integrated portfolio plans, dashboards, and delivery health metrics, ensuring a single source of truth for performance tracking
- Partner with Finance to manage portfolio financials, including business cases, forecasts, budgets, and benefits realization
- Drive value realization by defining KPIs, tracking outcomes, and ensuring sustained adoption post-implementation
- Coordinate cross-functional resource and capacity planning, resolving bottlenecks across global teams and technology domains
- Provide executive-level reporting, insights, and decision support, including risk escalation and recommendations
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and data governance standards
- Coach program and project leaders on portfolio management best practices, risk mitigation, and change control
- Support vendor and partner oversight, including contract alignment and performance management
- Continuously improve portfolio management practices, tools, and reporting using Lean, Agile, or hybrid methodologies
What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5-7+ years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management within large-scale, global, cross-functional environments
- Proven experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives in logistics, supply chain, or technology-driven organizations
- Strong financial acumen, including experience managing business cases, budgets, and value realization metrics
- Expertise in portfolio governance, prioritization, and dependency management across complex organizations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership
It'd be great if you also have: - MBA or advanced degree in a related field
- Portfolio/program management certifications (PfMP, PgMP, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, ITIL)
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
