About You

We're looking for someone who has:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or other related field required.
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure is required.
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience working in water, wastewater, stormwater/conveyance, and treatment projects in a consultant capacity is preferred, as well as at least 8 years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing project delivery.
  • Detailed civil design experience for wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
  • Proficient working experience with MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Civil 3D, REVIT, and hydraulic/stormwater/process modeling software.
  • Proven experience in developing project plans, anticipating and addressing project issues, leading meetings with clients, and directing the completion of technical reports.
  • Must be exceptional in written and oral communication, with the ability to lead, develop, and deliver highly persuasive presentations that build client confidence and result in securing favorable design contracts.

About the Role

Our Tennessee and Georgia offices are seeking an experienced Engineer/Project Manager specializing in stormwater and conveyance projects. This role offers a great opportunity to advance your career by leading detailed design projects and serving as a project manager for clients in the Atlanta or Nashville areas. You'll join a supportive team that values flexibility and work-life balance while delivering high-quality results.

As a Senior Engineer/ Project Manager, you will:
  • Lead planning, design, and evaluation of wastewater and stormwater conveyance and utility projects, including relocations.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling for conveyance systems-stormwater, gravity flow, and pressure systems.
  • Prepare design calculations, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Manage project delivery from planning through construction, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Support construction with field visits, submittal reviews, and contractor coordination.
  • Maintain client relationships and communicate project goals to ensure expectations are met.
  • Review engineering drawings, perform code research, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Mentor technical staff and engineers.
  • Collaborate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to inform project execution and operational success.
