PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Performs expanded pharmacy technician duties and assists with filling prescriptions. Contributes to the provision of quality

pharmacy services to dialysis and other patients in accordance with state pharmacy regulations and Fresenius Medical Care Pharmacy policies and procedures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This Lead role will primarily support Document Intake, Credit Review, our patient and partner support through phone calls and emails with clinicians.

• Ensure customer database is maintained in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures, analyzing and reporting data integrity and accuracy as necessary.

• Process prescription requests: inputting patient prescription and demographic data in applicable systems as required.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and/or healthcare providers to ensure the facilitation of diverse customer requests, collaborating with cross- functional teams in the coordination of customer service orders in a timely and accurate manner.

• Serve as an SME by providing support to additional staff, cross-divisional teams and customers in the resolution of outstanding issues within the assigned function(s).

• • Daily queue management

  • Daily workflow management

  • Team scheduling

  • Ability to address escalated calls

  • Provide technical guidance.

• Assist with various projects as assigned

EDUCATION:

· High School Diploma required

· Registered or ability to be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in applicable state

· Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is required (TN Location Only)

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is preferred, but not required. Ability and willingness to become certified is encouraged.

• This position is primarily remote with occasional travel to the closest office (hybrid) in Franklin, TN or St. Petersburg, FL.

· 4+ year related experience
