Kitting Setup Tech - 2nd Shift (3: 00 pm to 11: 30 pm M-F) Starting Rate $20 / Hour JOB SUMMARY The primary responsibility of this position is to set up, monitor and maintain operational status of the kitting process / department.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Setup kitting lines by using work instructions.
- Input data into excel spreadsheets.
- Help train/cross train new/tenured team members.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and submit it to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
- Maintain and improve 5S activities.
- Communicate with drivers and learn/execute the shipping processes as needed.
- Communicate with leadership during your shift on any issues in production.
- Follow all EFP, LLC Safety Rules and Policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership including helping other departments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and oral.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook and File Explorer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to stand or walk for entire shift.
- Occasional squatting, kneeling, bending and stooping.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble parts.
- Lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs.
