VB.NET/VB6 Developer

What you’ll achieve

As a VB.NET/VB6 Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining healthcare applications using legacy and modern Microsoft technologies. You’ll participate in all phases of the software lifecycle with a focus on quality, scalability, and performance—making a meaningful impact in transforming healthcare systems.

You will:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using VB.NET, #.NET, and VB6

• Develop and optimize SQL Server stored procedures

• Ensure code quality through design reviews, code walkthroughs, and performance tuning

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues involving multiple system components

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment

• Create technical documentation and support application deployment and maintenance

• Work with TFS for version control and team collaboration

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentor junior developers

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

Essential Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of development experience in VB.NET, #.NET, and VB6

• Strong experience with MS SQL Server and writing stored procedures

• Proven debugging skills and experience resolving complex technical issues

• Hands-on experience in software design, performance optimization, and code reviews

• Good understanding of software development principles and best practices

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork

Desirable Requirements

• Knowledge of Crystal Reports, FHIR, or Oracle is an advantage

• Experience working in the healthcare domain, especially Patient Administration or Secondary Care

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

• Exposure to Performance Engineering tools and techniques
