Part-Time Dining Room Supervisor Position

Part-Time, 32-35 Hours Hours Per Week

Hours: 1: 00p.m.-7: 30p.m., possible 11am-7: 30pm on weekends. 5 days a week- days and time may vary

Position Summary: This position is a part-time dining room supervisor in a formal dining room.

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: No Experience needed

About Colonial Hill Retirement Center: We are an independent living retirement community that offers 63 spacious apartments in 9 distinctive floor plans to suit every lifestyle. Every apartment has a full kitchen, walk-in closet(s), and balcony. We are located just off the Bristol Highway and less than 30 minutes from both Bristol and Kingsport.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sort and make sure that resident meal sheets are up to date for billing

Make sure residents and any guests are seated properly

Responsible for getting the drink orders and fill them properly and in a timely manner

Assist the wait staff in any duties to help in the meal service of the residents

Work closely with the dietary manager to assure that both the kitchen and dining room partners work together.

Assist residents in filling out menus properly

Assist dietary manager with tallying menus each week

Responsible for covering shifts when needed

Complete work schedules for wait staff and dishwashers

Handle resident complaints and communicate any problems to administrator

Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
