Chattanooga Bakery is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Chattanooga, TN. This is a full-time position.

CHATTANOOGA BAKERY, INC. Unique Southern Treats Position Title: Maintenance Supervisor Reports to: Maintenance Manager Status: Full Time Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Days and hours may vary widely, depending upon maintenance and production schedules. Weekend and Holiday work may be required as needed. Must be flexible to work other shifts as needed. Job Summary: The Maintenance supervisor is responsible for electrical and control work for Chattanooga, Bakery, Inc. The incumbent must understand and safely troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs as needed in a fast paced production environment. Experience in variable frequency drives, servo drives, AC/DC motors, proximity switches, photo eyes, weight controls/load cells, level controls, calibrations and vision systems are required. The PLC Technician will have experience with Alan Bradley, Rockwell software, Studio 5000, RSLinx, Factory talk studio, etc., and must be able to safely perform both electrical and mechanical activities. The incumbent will serve as the leader of the shift Maintenance team, and must be capable of supporting shift efficiency goals through direct leadership of the maintenance technicians. Understands, or Asks Demonstrates a commitment to personal safety and the safety of others Demonstrates a commitment to quality and food safety of our products Identifies, escalates and actively resolves safety, quality and operational concerns Maintain, troubleshoot and repair the Bakerys electrical and electronic equipment such as power flex VFDs, servo drives, ABB robots, Safeties, etc. Responsible for the installation and setup of new equipment including electrical conduit, wiring, etc., and conducts functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability Maintains backups of programs for all electrical systems Provide electrical training to and increase electrical skill level of Maintenance Technicians as instructed Document all major repairs through repair requisitions Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics Ability to use electrical test equipment such as multi meters and megohmmeters, used in the monitoring and troubleshooting of electronic equipment Must be knowledgeable and follow all Lock Out Tag Out procedures Ensure proper shut-down of all equipment at production end Ensure line readiness for next day start-up Ensure all production processes are in control Assist in developing, and maintaining, an electrical maintenance spare parts and PM program Performs all work within OSHA and EPA safety regulations Develop and implement electrical checklist system for machine set-up Support mechanical related issues as required Reviews performance issues and recommends improvement ideas with technical team Backup and assist Maintenance Supervisor as needed Responsible to assist in the electrical training of maintenance team Communicates and works effectively with production and other departments to accomplish Bakery objectives Ability to work well in a team environment and motivate others within the team Ability to work independently, solve problems and implement solutions Sustains personal productivity levels to meet work order demands Supports team productivity levels to meet work order demands Communicates effectively with peers, production and support departments to maintain team status as a Core Value to maximize operational results Must be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision Identify and actively resolve personal development gaps through both internal and external resources Supports site good manufacturing practice (GMP) requirements Demonstrates workplace behavior consistent with company policies and core values Actively supports CBI continuous improvement activities Must be shift flexible to support electrical needs on all shifts Must be able to obtain CBI forklift and aerial lift platform licenses Perform additional duties as required by manager Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Must be at least age 18 High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and Certified in Industrial Electronics or related field Three to five years of related electrical and mechanical experience Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, Company announcements and policies, and communicate these to others Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form Must possess basic computer knowledge with ability to find and enter information Preferred Qualifications/Requirements: Previous continuous improvement/TPM experience Previous experience leading technicians Previous experience with IR cameras, and vibration sensors Physical Requirements: Able to walk and stand for 8 plus hours a shift Able to work around operating equipment, stand, reach, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch and twist Repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms Frequent handling/gripping tools and equipment Able to work in variable temperatures (70 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit) Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision and color vision
