As an Associate Real Estate Attorney, you will oversee the legal aspects of real estate transactions. You will prepare and review legal documents relating to real estate, negotiate the terms and conditions of real estate transactions, and facilitate the transfer of titles.

Responsibilities- Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Draft and negotiate contracts and supporting documents for commercial real estate transactions, ensuring terms align with business goals and legal standards.
- Legal Issue Resolution: Actively contribute to resolving legal matters throughout the development process-including due diligence, permitting, entitlements, and construction-by offering practical, solutions-focused support.
- Strategic Legal Guidance: Provide trusted advice to the Store Development Team, helping assess risk and make informed decisions in complex real estate transactions.
- Title & Closing Support: Collaborate closely with the Commercial Escrow Team to address title issues and facilitate smooth, timely closings.
- Development Enablement: Play a key role in advancing sales and development goals by helping open new stores efficiently and in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:
- Educational Background & Legal Experience: You hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and bring 1-3 years of experience practicing law.
- Bar Membership: You're a licensed attorney and an active member of a state bar, ready to apply your legal expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Project & Deadline Management: You thrive when juggling multiple priorities, and your ability to manage deadlines and a multi-project workload sets you apart.
- Communication & Negotiation Skills: You are confident in your ability to negotiate effectively and communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders-including sellers, landlords, attorneys, escrow agents, and brokers.

- Real Estate Experience: You bring 1-3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on commercial real estate and contracts.
