Responsibilities

As an intern, you will engage in meaningful projects that support AutoZone's operations, gain insights into the inner workings of a leading automotive parts retailer, and develop professional skills through shadowing experiences and one-on-one mentorship.This program is designed to enhance your academic knowledge with practical application, preparing you for a successful career in your chosen field.

School requirements:

• Must be a current rising Junior, Senior or Masters student enrolled into a college or university at the time of Spring and Summer Semesters 2026 Internship Program (March 2 - August 7, 2026)
  • Intern must be attending classes while working as an intern for the Spring and Summer Semester.
  • Those who graduate prior to the internship ending do not qualify to participate.

Job requirements:

• Ability to work 20 - 30 hours per week in the Spring and 40 hours per week in the Summer
• Must be able to live in Memphis or adjacent counties for the duration of the internship and be fully in person at work during the internship.
• Proficiency in event planning, Canva, and leadership skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different project teams, tasks, departments
• Prior internship experience is preferred.
