Overview

Cannon & Cannon, Inc. (An Ardurra Company) is seeking a Project Manager in our Tennessee office's!
This Project Manager will oversee complex telecommunication and broadband projects while serving as a trusted partner to our utility and telecommunication clients. This role blends technical leadership, project execution, and customer success, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of telecommunication and broadband design and construction, strong cross-functional leadership skills, and a customer-first mindset.

Primary Function:

The Project Manager (PM) manages the full life cycle (proposal-initiation-execution/control-closeout) of projects and assumes full responsibility for achieving the project goals. This includes managing activities related to project planning, scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, resources, procurement, profit/loss, corrective actions, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility. The Project Manager’s overall objective is to deliver value to our clients and to Ardurra, build and maintain a positive client relationship, and achieve or exceed the estimated profit margin for the project.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end execution of broadband projects.
  • OSP Fiber Design of new and existing networks for telecom, utility, and municipal clients.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality across multiple concurrent projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and cost forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships by proactively managing expectations and resolving issues
  • Translate customer needs into actionable technical and project requirements
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years in OSP Engineering experience in fiber and copper design of FTTH, HFC, Middle Mile, and other Broadband expansion projects.
  • Proficiency in reading and marking up OSP construction drawings, splicing plans, and technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of utility standards, NESC, NEC and applicable codes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and risk
  • 30% Travel Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • RCDD or coursework beneficial for structured cabling and broadband design.
