We are looking for a passionate and driven Detective Technician to join our team. As a Detective Technician, you will be responsible for building special radiation detector systems. If you are a Detective Technician, we would love to hear from you!

Detective Technician will be responsible for:

• Cleaning, staging, and assembling parts for Detective systems.
• Handling & loading Ge crystals into detective systems.
• Soldering and/or brazing parts.
• Operation of helium leak detector and other vacuum equipment.
• Cleaning & maintenance of vacuum equipment.
• Cleaning and maintenance of other lab equipment.
• Perform QC testing to evaluate the performance of Detective systems.
• Troubleshoot systems when performance is not as expected.
• Provide support in all phases of Detective manufacturing & service as required.

Detective Technician Requirements:

• Associate's Degree
• Must have at least intermediate level experience with oscilloscopes, volt meters and other test/measurement equipment's.
• Knowledge and experience with usage of computers.
• Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision.
• Must have experience with good soldering practices.
• Must show skills and ability to work with intricate and fragile components.
• Must be meticulous and have high affinity for details.
• Good knowledge of, and experience with Microsoft Office suite of products and computer data entry.

Employee Type: Hourly

Salary Minimum: $45, 000

Salary Maximum: $55, 000
