Position: Janitor for Independent Living

Adams Place Independent Living fosters an environment of teamwork and provides maintenance opportunities in a healthcare setting. The Janitor is responsible for preventive and property maintenance.

Position Highlights:

• Monthly preventative maintenance
• Replace HVAC filters as scheduled
• Replace/clean air diffusers as needed
• Replace ceiling tiles as needed
• Replacing light bulbs as needed - apartments and commons
• Move-In assist
• Assist full-time maintenance with projects
• Pressure washing, as needed
• Assist as needed in pool and fountain maintenance
• Floor Tech
  • Weekly vacuum of common carpets
  • Carpet cleaning - apartments and commons
  • Cleaning of elevator floors
  • Cleaning service hall floors
• Daily trash removal from common area and trash rooms
• Daily cleaning of trash rooms
• Daily emptying of pet waste stations
• Maintain exterior
  • Pick up trash
  • Empty trash receptacles
  • Clean sidewalk lamps
• Assist Activities and Dining with event set up/tear down
• Other duties as assigned
