Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of the projects for long-term wiper systems in the multiple regions of IFP.
  • Manage all stages of product and feature development in wipers systems.
  • Manage internal and external partnerships to support the business and successfully renovate wipers products.
  • Have responsibility for understanding changes to the external environment (both technological and competitive) and initiating appropriate action to ensure continued business success.
  • Initiate, plan and lead major projects required to ensure category growth and profitability, IMF RD workstream development and Execution, leverage the design control process to verify and validate the product meets user needs.
  • Incorporate with Material Specialist to bring new materials/concept/opportunities to commercialize in future wipers portfolio range which sustains mid - long term business competitiveness, enhancing product value prop, PODs and delivering strong claims.
  • Includes partnering with Multi-functional project/category team to lead projects through IMF process
  • Be the expert for your product category on the Ideal product for customers/consumers and provide R& D leadership through Design control process from use-needs to design transfer. .

Organizational Leadership:

  • Serves as subject matter expert for Wiper products, and as super-connector between different R& D teams inside & outside IFP, as well as cross-functional team members to share/exchange developments and best practice.

  • A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related major scientific field or engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical assignments with extensive experience in nonwoven wipers related technologies.
  • Strong product design/development experience: experience in translating customer & consumer needs/wishes into product proposals/ideas, and then developing & qualifying products from technical & customer/consumer point of view
  • Strong collaboration skills & stakeholder management skills with an ability to work and influence across a matrix organization, influencing peers & stakeholders and working effectively with partners (internal & External) and across different geographies
  • Strong project management experience with Demonstrated ability to complete projects within required timeframes and budgets.

Preferred (not essential, but desired):

  • Experience with Kimberly-Clark products, procedures, and processes.
  • Experience managing vendors for both innovation and manufacturing.
  • Experience in quality systems, design controls, and design for manufacture practices.
  • Experience in intellectual asset management, technical strategy development
  • Extensive experience in product development and commercialization process, including Lean Product Development practices.
