What you will do

The Engineering Lead position is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and implementing custom applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will work closely with business analyst and stakeholders to identify requirements, develop application prototypes, and create functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative PowerApps custom solutions that align with the requirements and priorities of the Product Backlog.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement creative solutions that enhance business processes and workflows.

• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the Power Platforms space to ensure the organization remains competitive. Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for PowerApps development.

• Lead assignments/projects of moderate to high complexity following company development methodology.

• Update testing and debugging procedures to ensure high quality deliverables.

• Perform gap analyses based on current configuration/functionality versus new requirements.

• Lead team of engineers, including allocating backlog, and reviewing deliverables for quality and consistency.

• Provide input to support creation and maintenance of test plans and training materials.

• Develop and maintain all controlled and system documentation for the supported software portfolio.

• Resolve end user tickets and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

• Monitor and diagnose technical issues with production applications.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in PowerApps development or a related field.

• Strong understanding of PowerApps, including the ability to design and develop complex custom solutions.

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Automate.

• 2-4 years of related experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and implementing technical solutions to business problems and opportunities.

• Experience in SQL programming and relational databases.

• Experience in performing gap analyses based on current configuration/functionality versus new requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desired Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in automation development.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience in leading assignments/projects of moderate to high complexity following company development methodology.

• Experience in developing and maintaining all controlled and system documentation for the supported software portfolio.

• Ability to resolve customer complaints and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

• Experience in monitoring and diagnosing technical issues with production applications.
