What you will do

The Principal Scientist in Skin Health & Beauty - Claims Lead is responsible for determining claims strategy for Global Baby Care Projects, designing and overseeing experiments, writing test protocols, reviewing and verifying reports, and mentoring less experienced personnel:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive scientific strategy of Clinical, Consumer and HCP Claims for Baby Care Global Projects for all Skin Health Brands at Kenvue

• Develop and implement innovative methodologies for data analysis and interpretation for claim evaluation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address key scientific challenges and define test methods for claim evaluation

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in claims science and incorporate them into project strategies

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and external stakeholders

• Lead research efforts to identify and develop innovative scientific concepts and technologies in alignment with the role of Principal Scientist

• Ensure high quality project execution, including design, data analysis, report preparation, and compliance with global regulations

• Analyze complex data and situations to generate creative and effective solutions

• Contribute significantly to the scientific community through publications and presentations at national and international level conferences

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• PhD in a related scientific field with 6-8 years of experience in claims research

• 6-8 years of experience in a regulated lab environment, working with Consumer Goods and defining test strategy

• University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field

• Proficiency in cGMPs, WORD, EXCEL, and data documentation systems like CONNECT and EDM

• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and experience with statistical software like Minitab

• Prior experience in manual set-up of pilot scale equipment

• Advanced English

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

• Highly preferred ability to influence others
