What you will do

The Kenvue Legal & Compliance (KLC) Global Strategy Director is responsible for developing KLC wide strategy and executing tactical plans based on the strategic objectives, conducting research and analysis, leading special projects, and managing the operations of the legal department.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement legal and compliance strategies that align with KLC and the company's overall strategic purpose, vision, goals and objectives.

• Identify and deploy KPIs to assess operational effectiveness.

• Continuous evaluation of KLC service models with a focus on right-sourcing.

• Identification and sharing of best practices across KLC functions and regions.

• Assess current system and processes to enable ongoing improvement to address technology gaps.

• Collaborate across KLC functions and regions for continuous assessment of needs to identify opportunities for capabilities development.

• Partner with Business Intelligence Director to ensure alignment between technology and goals.

• Provide guidance and advice to senior management on legal and compliance matters, including operational efficiency and risk management.

• Manage and oversee the Program Management and Learning & Development (L& D) resources, ensuring that they are focused on impact aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external legal and compliance stakeholders, including strategy leaders and industry associations.

• Advise L& D team on strategy for training and education to employees on legal and compliance matters.

• Develop and execute tactical plans based on strategic legal objectives for the company and/or business unit.

• Plan, manage, and track KLC OKRs; establish methods and metrics to evaluate accomplishment of stated objectives.

• Lead special projects and conduct extensive research and analysis to support strategic planning and execution.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD), MBA, or equivalent degree.

• Extensive experience in legal and compliance roles, with a focus on strategic planning and risk management.

• Demonstrated leadership with a business-centric mindset.

• Experience working in a large, complex organization with multiple business units and stakeholders.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent knowledge of compliance and legal operations.

• Ability to conduct extensive research and analysis to support strategic planning.

• Proven experience leading transformative projects.

• Self-starter with passion for innovation and ability to challenge status quo and influence change.

• Proficiency in English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate legal and compliance risks.

• Strong leadership and project management skills.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to securities laws, anti-corruption laws, and data privacy laws.
