The Medtech LATAM Business Unit Controller is a key position that provides financial leadership and strategic support to the Regional Franchise model which includes the Ethicon and Cardio Specialty Surgery businesses. This is a dynamic role that requires strong connection and collaboration with the Global Franchises to ensure strategies and financial targets are cascaded down to the region. This position will report to the MT Regional Finance Director and lead a team with varied strengths of finance professionals located throughout the region. The position will also be a member of the Franchise Leadership teams within LATAM.

Primary responsibilities include:

Regional Franchise Leadership- manages and provides strategic direction to the Franchise Finance Leads supporting the three key businesses of the Region. Key responsibilities include establishing a framework and process for evaluating New Product Launches while ensuring the right level of profitability and an appropriate return on investment. The Franchise Finance team will partner with key leaders to pursue opportunities to improve profitability including customer segmentation, portfolio optimization and mix as well as opportunities for SKU rationalization; as part of Financial Forecast cycles will lead the Innovation Day Agenda. This position will also partner with Franchise Leadership and Cluster Leadership to integrate acquisitions, accelerate the pace of innovation and pursue new business models to expand patient access.

The ideal profile of this position calls for a flexible and well-rounded leader, - someone who is self-motivated, detailed oriented, collaborative, and has excellent business acumen. Desired qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Data Sciences or Analytics or any related business is required.

• An advanced degree such as a Master's/MBA, CPA, CMA, or other applicable certification is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting, process excellence or related business experience is required, of which at least 3 years of experience in Manager role with supervisory experience

• Excellent at building strong relationships with peers and with other senior-level stakeholders

• Excellent business and finance acumen, with foundational knowledge of compliance requirements

• Critical experiences within Finance areas in Business Units strategic support and financial planning and analytic

• Must demonstrate strong framing and storytelling skills, strategic alignment, scenario impacts, and problem-solving

• Individual must work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process or strategic improvements.

• Skills to influence others and move toward a common vision

• Team-oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively with and through others

• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus

• The location would be in Mexico, Brazil or any Latam country

• This position may require up to 10% of travel.
