What you will do

The STRATEGIC SOURCING SPECIALIST is responsible for develop, deploy, implement and manage the categories sourcing strategies to optimize processes and improve Kenvue overall results. Additionally, day-to-day operational, functional and personnel activities of the department, proposing and providing input to purchasing policies, procedures and performance standards, conducting department internal audits and implementing remedies to achieve conformance with department policies, spend management, cost controls, and providing input to departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and measures to reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities are aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes and procedures.
  • Lead and manage professionals to ensure efficient and effective operations (directly or by influence).
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide regular reports on departmental performance and key metrics to senior management.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or related field
  • Advanced or fluent English.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and pricing data to identify opportunities for cost savings. Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced Spanish.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex contracts for large nonstandard purchases.
  • Experience with supplier management and conducting supplier evaluations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
