We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement HR strategies that align with our mission, enhance employee engagement and drive innovation and growth. What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic HR and Team Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies, policies and programs that support organizational goals and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversees and holds accountability for the organization's recruitment, staffing, and retention strategies, ensuring the development and execution of effective approaches to attract and retain top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations, ensure concerns are addressed, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Safety: Responsible for implementation and maintenance of a safety system in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Performance Management: Provide oversight and strategic direction for the development and implementation of performance management systems and processes.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Data Analysis: Provide leadership and guidance on the analysis of HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Who You Are:

  • A dynamic leader with a Master's degree in human resource management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Equipped with 10+ years of experience in the human services sector and 6+ years in a leadership role.
  • Expert knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Apply critical thinking and thought leadership to diagnose complex performance issues and work with leaders to prepare solutions and support implementation.
  • A team builder who excels in empowering and guiding others to success with the. ability to form strong relationships and professional working alliances with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A communicator with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Knowledgeable about applicable legislation, financial stewardship, and resource allocation.
  • Professional designation (CHRP, SHRM) is an asset.

Salary range $113, 929.92 to $154, 155.46, depending on experience.
