As a Software Development Engineer with a focus on automation/automation technology in Labview / #, you will be responsible for the new/further development of our production stations for laser systems in our newly created Automation & Software department in the R& D division in close cooperation with colleagues from the New Product Introduction (NPI) department." Tasks

• You will program software applications for the robot-assisted production of lasers.
• You will develop processes and algorithms for adjusting optical components for laser construction.
• You will develop software modules (object-oriented) to control various hardware in the areas of motion control/robotics, digital/analog IOs and measurement technology.
• Designing the software architecture and the technology stack.
• You will be part of various project teams that manage the analysis and introduction of hardware components for the automated (micro) assembly of optical assemblies and lasers.

Profile

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable field.
• Sound knowledge of modular/object-oriented programming (e.g. Python, #).
• Knowledge of LabVIEW, #, Python is desirable.
• Confident handling of databases.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
• Analytical and structured way of working in combination with a high solution orientation.
