GSC Plant Business Finance Controller

MISSION

We are looking for young talent to join the team and lead the whole manufacturing finance function for SEMV, SEOCR and RAC (65m€ COGS), and is the finance single point of contact:

• Deliver excellence in analytics and value add analysis for a One version of the truth

• Deliver proper financial insight and accurate forecasting to support and drive decision-making for Group Equity Story

• Build strong partnering and collaboration with business based on trust and competence

• Drive and challenge consistency between decisions and impacts to overall profitability and value

• Implement standard processes and automated ways of working for better supporting business while being more effective

• Develop future ready Finance leaders that foster a transparent and collaborative culture

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor the evolution of the economic performance and provide visibility and analyses to the Cluster management team
• Timely reporting as per Group Reporting timeline
• Manage the Performance Measurement for the entities
• Drive actions outside accounting such as ROI, IDB, Inventories, cashflow, consolidated standard cost (CSC) improvement

Ensure strong control & compliance
• Comply with statutory and Group principles

• Assist plant directors/head in animating and driving improvement of KICs analysis and actions - in particular, having right level of self-assessment and risk identification

• Work closely with zone internal control team & GSC International internal control team

Be a Business Partner to the EAM SVP
• Challenge the plant teams on the performance and objectives
• Manage the monthly financial meeting within the management
team.

• Stimulate action plans

Drive finance transformation for cluster scope
• Develop the processes and implement improvements, including ERP improvement with support / lead of corporate teams
• Manage the financial communication process for the Cluster with the relevant external and internal institutions

• Drive finance blueprint in line with group guidance (accounting, FP& A, FBP roles)

LOCATION: Schneider Electric Manufacturing Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, Tang Nhon Phu Ward, HCM city

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Degree in Accounting, ACCA or other finance disciplines

CPA / CA / CGMA / ACMA

Job Related Experience:

Experience in Finance Business field

A solid Audit and Accounting experience in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain operations

A strong financial analytical skill and experience

Experience in processes, internal control and compliance is a plus

Business Understanding:

Experience in Manufacturing/Supply Chain Operation, similar industry

Others:

Finance business partner and member of the management committee

Good inter-personal and communication skills

Team mindset and collaborative

Influence skills, working with multiple finance and other teams

Process-oriented to deliver value to the business and minimize risks

Excellent level of English

Experience in Oracle, digital or Data Analytic capability is a plus
