Role Mission- This role ensures end-to-end demand and supply alignment for Vietnam by delivering accurate demand forecasts, securing reliable supply, and enabling seamless operational execution. The mission is to:
- Drive collaborative, high-accuracy forecasting across all business units (Home Solutions, Power Products, Digital Energy, IA Ops Automation) - Focusing Transactional
- Balance demand and supply with proactive risk identification and mitigation (Rev Risk)
- Ensure inventory health, revenue delivery, and high customer service levels
- Build planning maturity using digital tools, automation, and advanced analytics
- The role integrates Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Operational SIOP leadership, requiring strong analytical skills, digital capability, and a structured problem-solving mindset.
Role Overview- As the Vietnam Demand & knowledge Supply Planning Lead, you will own the end-to-end CSF, supply planning, DRP, and SIOP processes.
- You will balance operational execution while driving strategic alignment with commercial, logistics, and global supply chain teams.
- This role requires a hands-on planner who can:
Build a reliable demand signal from multiple inputs
Secure supply availability in a constrained and volatile environment
Use digital tools to automate, visualize, and optimize planning workflows - Work closely with internal teams and external factories to resolve gaps
Drive resilience in the Vietnam market landscape - You report to the Regional Demand Planning Manager and work in strong partnership with Country Logistics, Offer Marketing, and Key stakeholder Commercial people + other Demand Planning in EA(East Asia)
Key Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDemand Planning (CSF Ownership)- Lead Vietnam's monthly Collaborative Sales Forecasting (CSF) cycle across all assigned business units and divisions
- Build a trusted demand signal by integrating:
- Historical trends and seasonality patterns
- Market intelligence and external causal factors
- Customer insights and key account pipeline visibility
- Phase-in/phase-out planning and product lifecycle management
- Promotion, Project, Finance Target perspective impact analysis and cannibalization effects
- Partner with commercial teams on a weekly basis to validate demand risks and opportunities
- Maintain clean planning data: item flags, attributes, statistical model settings, and forecast hierarchies
- Improve forecast accuracy using advanced analytics, statistical models, and where possible, machine-learning insights
- Leverage Kinaxis (or equivalent tools) for statistical forecasting and enhance with AI/ML techniques where applicable
- Conduct regular engagements with Offer Marketing and key customers to gain demand visibility and co-plan where required
Supply Planning & Replenishment (Operational DRP Ownership)- Own Vietnam's supply planning, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), and daily planning operations
- Ensure correct planning parameters are maintained: safety stocks, MOQ, lead times, stocking policies, and reorder points
- Secure supply availability for revenue-critical offers and prioritize allocation for high-impact SKUs
- Highlight supply risks early and drive mitigation actions with factories, GSC, and regional planners
- Manage gross inventory against monthly targets with full visibility on customer backlog
- Maintain a clean, healthy, right-sized inventory portfolio - minimizing excess, obsolescence, and dead stock
- Collaborate closely with LoB teams to align DRP parameters with demand signals and business priorities
- Monitor and manage supplier delivery performance and factory allocation confirmations
SIOP Leadership (Demand-Supply Alignment)- Lead country-level SIOP meetings and present demand-supply gaps, inventory risks, and operational challenges to senior leadership
- Facilitate alignment across Commercial, Logistics, Country Finance, and Product Marketing functions
- Drive executive decisions for allocation, recovery plans, and prioritization of constrained supply
- Support scenario simulations for supply constraints, demand surges, and market disruptions
- Chair or co-chair the monthly SIOP executive meeting with participation from Country President, BU VPs, Country CFO, and Logistics Head
- Deliver data-driven discussions using structured RAG status, risk/opportunity registers, and gap analysis
Digital & Analytical Capability (Critical Requirement)- Build and automate Power BI/Tableau dashboards for forecast accuracy, inventory health, revenue risks, and supply recovery tracking
- Use digital tools (Power Query, SQL, Python optional) to automate repetitive planning tasks and reduce manual work
- Operate planning systems (Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP APO/IBP) with high proficiency
- Champion digital transformation to improve decision speed, data quality, and process standardization
- Create automated alerts and exception reports to drive proactive planning interventions
Inventory & Operational Excellence- Continuously optimize safety stocks, service levels, inventory turnover, and excess & obsolescence (E& O) exposure
- Lead root-cause analysis of forecast errors, supply failures, and delivery misses
- Drive inventory optimization from a demand perspective: Forecast Value Added (FVA), customer OTDC, stocking policy reviews
- Standardize best practices to upgrade Vietnam planning maturity toward regional benchmarks
- Support scenario planning and stress-testing of demand and supply plans to enhance supply chain resilience
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in demand planning and/orsupply planning (combined DP + SP experience strongly preferred)
- At least 3-5 years in a role facilitating cross-functional planning meetings or executive-level SIOP discussions
- Experience in Vietnam or emerging Southeast Asian markets is a strong advantage
Technical Skills (Must-Have)- Strong knowledge of demand forecasting methodologies, supply planning fundamentals, and inventory mechanics
- Hands-on experience with planning platforms: Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP APO/IBP, or equivalent (e.g., o9, Anaplan)
- Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualization
- Advanced Excel capabilities including Power Query, complex formulas, and data modelling
- Understanding of supply constraints, factory planning, DRP logic, and replenishment parameters
- Ability to run analyses using SQL or Python is preferred but not mandatory
- Have Good Presentation skills to present to the top level

- Supply chain certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, IBF) are valued
